Branding Packaging UI/UX

Ever seen a box with wheels? Now that you think about it, doesn’t it make so much sense!

Boxed is a luggage startup that rethinks the way we use luggage bags. With extremely powerful corrugated materials, these boxes are more durable than your regular luggage bags. These bags come with wheels and handles attached which makes their transport completely friendly. Boxed aims to be your go-to brand when it comes to packing and moving. Boxed bags are also more sustainable and pocket friendly (luggage bags cost around 300$ while Boxed bags cost only 15$) than the regular luggage bags and are completely customizable in sizes and designs. Stand out with one of these the next time you are at the airport!

For this design, I embraced the corrugated material of the boxes and kept the color palette to black and white to ensure affordability. A neon pop off color surfaces in rest of the design elements. Typography and illustration took center stage, with witty copywriting supporting the mission to make Boxed approachable. The accent copy and iconography were chosen to evoke the feel of typical moving boxes.

FALL 2023

Individual Project

THE PROCESS》The design system was built around portability, integrating wheels and handles to ensure ease of transport without compromising on strength. A key aspect of the process was refining the balance between durability and aesthetics - creating a form that felt both utilitarian and modern. Beyond the product itself, the branding and packaging were designed to reinforce Boxed’s identity as a forward-thinking, practical solution for contemporary travel.

My role in the project focused on developing the visual identity, including branding, packaging, and overall art direction. I worked on ensuring that the design language remained cohesive across all touchpoints, from the logo to the structural packaging details.
