Branding UI/UX OOH Ads

DECO is an art festival that celebrates modernity in the spirit of the Art Deco. Our mission is to adorn the world with the transformative power of art and design, blending contemporary thought with the intersection of tradition and innovation.  We strive to decorate the world with art and design while embracing contemporary thought. We stand in favor of advancing technologies as they are applied to the arts. We advocate for evolving media to enlighten fellow art enthusiast, educate the curious-minded, and commend the artists willing to share.

For this project, we created a modular visual system for DECO by abstracting traditional Art Deco elements and applying them across various media. The linear geometric grid lines, inspired by the Art Deco movement and the Centre Pompidou in Paris, form the foundation of this system. This modular approach allows flexibility to showcase the artist’s works as needed. After developing the system, we extended its application to design tickets, posters, websites, and outdoor advertisements.

THE PROCESS》The design system was inspired by linear geometric grids, taking cues from both classic Art Deco motifs and the structural aesthetic of the Centre Pompidou. This modular visual language was applied across various media, including tickets, posters, websites, and outdoor advertisements, ensuring a dynamic yet cohesive identity. A key part of the process was creating a system that allowed flexibility while maintaining strong visual consistency. The structured grid provided a foundation, but breaking it in strategic places added energy and movement to the design. The festival's branding extended beyond print and digital, integrating signage and environmental graphics to create an immersive experience.

My role in the project involved developing the visual system and art direction, ensuring that Deco maintained a balance between historical influence and contemporary execution. I worked on applying the modular system across different formats, refining the typography, and creating a cohesive yet adaptable festival identity.
