Shift is a design-led platform that tackles the often-dismissed but deeply damaging experiences of public harassment—like groping, stalking, catcalling, and unsolicited touch—faced by college students across urban India.
Built with empathy, tech, and bold storytelling, Shift reimagines how young people understand and respond to these moments. The project spans a reporting app, awareness campaign, and interactive seminar—each designed to validate lived experiences, make reporting more approachable, and spark real conversations on safety, boundaries, and behavior.

What started as a simple landing page for the SVA MFAD program evolved into a narrative told across multiple mediums. At its heart, the design captures the dance between stillness and motion. Using generative art and code, a hibiscus blooms and fades in an endless loop, echoing the cycle of renewal. This project invites you to pause, reflect, and embrace the unfolding of a new chapter.

Each year, SVA's MFA Design program hosts the Thesis Forum, where graduating students present their final ventures. The branding for Venture 2025 is rooted in the idea that while each of us arrived here through different journeys, we’re united by a shared pursuit of purpose through design. A ribbon runs through the visual identity — fluid, layered, and ever-changing. It reflects the diverse perspectives, experiences, and ideas that shaped our ventures, and the winding paths we took to bring them to life.
